INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The MUNICIPALITY OF PANGLAO, BOHOL, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers to apply for eligibility and if found eligible, to bid for the hereunder Project:

- PHASE 1 (KUMPRAHANAN)

Description                  :           Construction Materials &Equipment Rental

Approve Budget for the Contract      : Materials       P    7,320,979.95

Equip. Rental 78,000.00 Contract Duration          :           N/A

 

2.       Name of Project        :           CONSTRUCTION OF PANGLAO PUBLIC MARKET

- PHASE 1 (KUMPRAHANAN)

Location                      :           Poblacion, Panglao, Bohol

Description                  :           Building Plan and Design

Approve Budget for the Contract      :                       P    500,000.00

Contract Duration       :           N/A

 

Prospective Bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last 2 years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for the bidding.  The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of the Bids shall be non-discretionary “PASS/FAIL” criteria.  Post qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

 

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the provisions of RA 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR).

The BAC will issue to prospective bidders Eligibility forms at the Office of the Municipal Treasurer, Panglao, Bohol, upon their submission of a LOI, and upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Three Hundred Pesos (P 300.00) to the Office of the Municipal Treasurer, Panglao, Bohol.  Prospective bidders shall submit the Eligibility Requirements of the BAC at said address.  They may also obtain the results of the Eligibility Check by the BAC at the same address.  Bidders who have previously participated and qualified or have been found eligible in the previous biddings of the municipality may no longer submit eligibility requirements.  Instead, only Letter of Intent is required.

 

The BAC will issue Bidding Documents only to bidders declared by the BAC to the eligible for the bidding upon payment of non-refundable amount of Three Hundred Pesos per project to the Office of the Municipal Treasurer.

 

The Municipality of Panglao, Bohol assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.
